Driven by her passion for connecting people with products, Jennifer launched Maiden America, an online fashion marketplace that showcased American-designed apparel and accessories. Jennifer used meticulous trend forecasting and personalized storytelling to showcase small, emerging designers and get their products in the hands of customers around the country. Starting one of the first e-commerce marketplaces in the early 2000s, Jennifer cultivated a loyal global client base, earning recognition in publications like Lucky magazine which led to record sales for her roster of emerging brands. Her online success would lead to the launch of nationwide pop-up shops and trunk shows so customers could interact with the brands in real life. These stylized private events quickly grew into large-scale brand activations and the formation of her company Sky Blue Events. These events caught the eye of prominent brands like Chanel, the Ritz-Carlton, Red Door Spa, Vineyard Vines, J. McLaughlin, and the Four Seasons to collaborate on creative brand activations and large-scale social and corporate events.
