Capitalizing on an Untapped Market

Jennifer's entrepreneurial journey began when she identified a need and worked to fill it. Having attended The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and spent years working Seventh on Sixth runway shows, public relations agencies, and retail buying offices, Jennifer was always fully immersed in the latest trends and products. When she relocated to Telluride, Colorado, there was nowhere to shop for high-end brands and she found herself asking family and friends to send her the latest merchandise from her favorite designers. She began building relationships with Micahel Kors, MaxMara, Marc Jacobs, and other brands that aligned with the shopping habits of an untapped customer base of the high-end ski town. This would lead to the establishment of Two Skirts, the first premium women's clothing and accessories boutique in the area, where she curated collections, designed private label merchandise, and produced a shoppable magazine, catering to a growing demand for luxury personal shopping experiences.
